The inside of Children's!

Dave Crawford gave me the full tour.....he took me through every door I desired to go through, and I saw amazing things! Ohhhh, how cool it is to see the amount of energy required to heat, light, cool, pump air, and suck air in a hospital. Dave answered every question I had regarding purification systems and such....what a high! Here are pictures of my experience!Snowy Night!
From Pavillion, overlooking Dodge St.
Though smaller than most water heaters at home, the place uses only two of these babies to provide the hot water......EXTEMELY EFFICIENT!
This fan circulates the air from all over the hospital....huge and powerful! This air was sucked up from the rooms, and it is getting ready to be purified through ultraviolet light and filters....probably not the best place to hang out! haha!!
The highest point on the building....supposedly, on a clear day, one can see most of Omaha!

This pannel runs the trauma elevator....other ones that look like this also run the service and patient elevators.
I am the type of person that desires to press every button I see....this is why I should NOT be President.......Dave let me press all kinds of stuff. Luckily not this one because if I turned the CPU off, there is always the chance of the elevator crashing into the floor with a person in there...still, the desire to turn it is tempting! haha.

Engine room......I feel like Titantic in the boiler room....."All engines stop, Sir."

It was definitely a blast....I think I am going to ask to go up again sometime....perhaps to see a sunrise in the spring! =D
