Josh and Nathaniel doing the Karate Kid stance. It ended up in a tie...believe it or not...this was after four times!I really appreciated this retreat. When things go wrong completely out of nowhere, it means either the devil is trying to ruin something that is going to be awesome or that this event was not supposed to happen; our job as leaders is to pray and seek out which one it is. This was an awesome retreat, but people had to be taken out of their comfort zones...love that! Things are going to happen in the body of Christ...we must be as prepared as possible for anything. Secondly, when fear tries to strike, we must not react....just let it pass, examine the situation, and and TRY to act with understanding. In the weeks to come, I have felt a damper on the Spirit, and I believe it was because people were not ready for the few issues that we encountered at the retreat...they believed things would go as planned 100%? God seeks people that will be steadfast for Him, no matter what happens. Much, MUCH greater things should be able to smack us, and we should sustain....I really hope more of these things keep happening, so we can move into that.
